 | Matthew came from a military family. As a reservist in the Saskatchewan Dragoons, MCpl Matthew Persin was an Armoured Reconnaisance Crewman. He was known by his fellow soldiers as a "good guy". |
 | He transfered to the regular force as a member of the Royal Canadian Airforce and achieved the rank of Second Lieutenant. |
 | Matthew passed away on 27May2006. Matthew is interred at Riverside Memorial Park, Regina. Block 29A, Plot FOH, Lot L01. The family welcomes photos of him in uniform from fellow soldiers. Submit photos to the webmaster. |
